This Privacy Policy describes how DT Insight Group LLC ("Pipewatch", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our website at pipewatch.io and any related services.
1. Who we are
Pipewatch is operated by DT Insight Group LLC, a company incorporated in the State of Wyoming, United States. We provide automation monitoring software for consultants and agencies.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Email address — when you join our waitlist or create an account.
- Name — if you provide it when signing up or contacting us.
- API keys and credentials — when you connect third-party tools (Make.com, n8n, Zapier) to monitor your automations. These are stored encrypted and never shared.
- Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your full card details.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, time spent, clicks, and navigation patterns within the app.
- Device and browser data — browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and IP address.
- Log data — server logs including your IP address, browser, referring pages, and timestamps.
- Cookies — small text files stored on your device to maintain your session and remember your preferences. See Section 7 for details.
2.3 Information from third-party tools you connect
When you connect Make.com, n8n, or Zapier to Pipewatch, we access automation execution logs and workflow metadata necessary to provide monitoring. We access only what is required to show you status and failure information. We do not access, read, or store the data processed by your automations.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and improve the Pipewatch service
- Send you product updates, alerts, and service-related communications
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries
- Send waitlist and early access communications (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the product
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
4. How we share your information
We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
4.1 Service providers
We work with trusted third-party companies to help operate our service:
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend or similar — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
4.2 Legal requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
4.3 Business transfers
If DT Insight Group LLC is acquired, merged, or transfers its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified via email and a notice on our website prior to any such transfer.
5. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.
Automation execution logs are retained for 30 days by default. You may delete them earlier at any time from within the app.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — request that we delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to certain uses of your data
- Restriction — request that we restrict processing of your data
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@pipewatch.io. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies — required for the service to function (authentication, session management). Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how people use Pipewatch so we can improve it. You can opt out.
- Preference cookies — remember your settings and preferences.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using parts of the service.
8. Data security
We take security seriously. We implement the following measures to protect your data:
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+
- API keys and credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only
- We conduct regular security reviews
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@pipewatch.io.
9. International transfers
DT Insight Group LLC is based in the United States. If you are located outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using Pipewatch, you consent to this transfer.
We take steps to ensure that international transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including implementing standard contractual clauses where required.
10. Children's privacy
Pipewatch is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or a prominent notice on our website.
Your continued use of Pipewatch after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
